Big 12 program ropes in Willis

After a trip to a Big 12 school over the weekend, Ray Willis is off the board. The three-star prospect from Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake has found a college home.
Willis, a versatile 6-foot-5 wing, verbally committed to Oklahoma after an official visit to Norman, he told Rivals.com. Willis, who was born in Oklahoma, also visited Central Florida. He moved to Atlanta over the summer from Orlando.

Willis also visited Central Florida officially. He is also the second Georgia player in as many years to commit to the Sooners. Tony Neysmith, formerly of Norcross High School, is a freshman for OU.
Jeff Capel and his staff already have a pledge from junior college big man Orlando Allen. The program also played host to five-star guard Willie Warren over the weekend.
Westlake is producing prospects left and right. He is the third player from his high school team to commit to a Division I school. Fellow class of 2008 player Gideon Gamble is headed to Winthrop and class of 2011 wing Marc Brown has already committed to Florida State.
