Beyerson Has Many Looks

Brad "B.J." Byerson, a husky 6-7, 235 pound power forward from Thomas Dale H.S. in Chester, Va., displayed some skills at the recent adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey.
Byerson surprised us a bit with his ability to put the ball on the deck a bit and get past some post defenders.

Right now, Byerson is wide open on schools, but he told us he has interest from Georgia Tech, North Carolina, N.C. State, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Oregon, Stanford and Kentucky. Of those programs, Byerson said he had no offers prior to the ABCD Camp.
This past season at Dale H.S., Byerson averaged 17 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks per contest. He said he has a 3.0 GPA in the classroom and scored a 900 on the SAT.
Byerson typically plays with the Richmond Squires program, but after the ABCD Camp, he planned to attend the Dale H.S. Summer Camp in Virginia. It didn't sound like he was headed to the Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas with the Squires, but you never know, so we'll keep you posted on whether he shows up there or not.
