Bentil continues to improve
The state of Delaware isn't known for pumping out tons of high-major talent. But, the state isn't without talent and Ben Bentil has emerged as one of the top juniors in the nation.
A 6-foot-8 power forward at Middletown (Del.) St. Andrew's, Bentil ranks as the No. 31 player in the 2014 Rivals150.

Powerful, quick and athletic, Bentil is a bruising interior player who rebounds at a high level and has some game facing the hoop.
"I think I have to work on everything," Bentil said. "Working on everything will get you better. I think I'm pretty much tougher with rebounding and everything."
More than likely, Bentil is the top soccer player in the Rivals150 for basketball. An imposing sight as a 6-foot-8 forward, he says that he can bring part of the pitch with him to the hardwood.
"I think it helps me with my speed and agility," he said. "The soccer footwork helps with all of that."
Bentil can claim early offers from the likes of Cincinnati, La Salle, Penn State, Providence, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. Joseph's, Temple, Villanova along with interest from N.C. State, Texas, Notre Dame and many more.
That said, the four-star prospect isn't yet paying much attention to deciding who his favorites are.
"I really don't pay attention to it," Bentil told Rivals.com about his recruitment. "I'm a junior and I have one more year in front of me so I'm just working hard."
While he doesn't have any favorites, Bentil does have an idea of what he is looking for and that includes the chance to play some on the wing.
"I'm trying to play the small forward, the three or the four," said Bentil. "I'm trying go to a school that will just put me out there and let me play."
