Benison at Missouri JUCO

The last time Rivalshoops.com caught 6-5 athletic specimen Cameron Benison in action, he was suiting up for Doc Niceli's Student Athlete Broncos at the 2001 Charlie Weber Invitational Tournament in Maryland.
Three junior colleges later, Benison has resurfaced at State Fair C.C. in Sedalia, Mo., and he's hoping to make the two-year school his home until he is able to transfer to a four-year school.

An active 225 pounder, Benison is a powerful athlete who can play both inside and out. At the recent Central Missouri State JUCO Jamboree, he showed flashes of fine play for State Fair.
Benison, who was listed as a freshman on State Fair's roster, was linked to three junior colleges last year. He was slated to start out last year at Ventura J.C. in California, but instead wound up at local outfit Globe Tech in New York City.
Benison didn't last long at Globe Tech and was next reported to be headed to Pensacola J.C. in Florida. That situation didn't materialize, so he hopes to find ample playing time and stability this winter at State Fair.
Manhattan College in New York is one of many colleges who are no doubt keeping its eyes on Benison's progress this year at State Fair. Rivalshoops.com will also monitor his situation in the months to come, so stay tuned.
