Beach Ball Classic set to tip off

One of the stalwarts of the holiday hoop season, the 26th annual Beach Ball Classic tips off tonight. Rivals.com will provide coverage of the quarterfinals, semifinals and more beginning December 27 when the top ranked prospect at the event Delvon Roe hits the court.
Roe, the No. 5 ranked prospect in the class of 2008, leads St. Edward (Ohio) High School against Father Henry Carr (Canada) High School in a primetime match up. On the other side of the bracket, another highly ranked 2008 power forward prospect Luke Babbitt leads his Galena (Nev.) squad into action in the early game on Wednesday.
