BC goes west again

After landing its first 2008 commitment Dallas Elmore from Fort Collins (Colo.) Poudre High School, Boston College went back to the Rocky Mountains to land a second commitment from Rivals150 prospect Reggie Jackson.
Jackson, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound guard from Colorado Springs Palmer High School, committed after being impressed by a visit to the ACC school last week.

"I was blown away when I got there," said Jackson. "It was obvious to me on the visit that Boston College was the best fit for me. There is a great chance for playing time, and I love the city."
Jackson also had offers from Wyoming and Nevada and was receiving recent interest from Marquette and Texas A&M.
The No. 111 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, Jackson averaged 22.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.6 steals per game as a junior.
