Baylor snags four-star prospect

At one time four-star prospect Anthony Jones flirted with a commitment to Texas A&M before decommitting soon afterward. Now with his mother on board, Jones has decided on another Big 12 school after his first official visit.
"They had a great visit at Baylor," said Marland Lowe, Jones' longtime mentor. "His mother loved it, and Anthony told the coaching staff this morning that he wanted to commit."

Of his top three schools, Texas A&M held a slight edge over Baylor and Texas prior to his official visit to Waco, Texas.
Jones, a 6-foot-9, 185-pound combo forward from Houston (Texas) Yates High School, is the No. 46 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
Jones' commitment comes on the heels of Rivals150 prospect Storm Warren's commitment following his official visit to the school.
Anthony Jones scouting report:
Both long and skilled, Jones is a versatile forward with NBA potential. He is playing stronger around the basket where he alters shots and has the hands to snatch rebounds. He also moves his feet well away from the basket and possesses perimeter offensive skills. He just need to continue to develop strength to play with more aggression.
