RANKINGS: Class of 2014 - 2015 - 2016
He always said that he would make an early commitment and Tuesday morning, King McClure did just that. 2015's No. 37 player is off the board to a nearby Big 12 program after announcing his decision during a morning press conference.

A well built 6-foot-3 combo guard at Dallas (Texas) Triple A Academy, McClure announced at his high school that he will be attending Baylor after he graduates.
The Bears Scott Drew was very hands on in his approach with McClure and that personal touch paid off.
"He came at me with everything and then he told me that I could come into his program and help out immediately," said McClure. "If you look at the depth chart I actually have an ability to do that. Then he told me that it's just an hour and a half away from home. It's not too far and it's not too close. It's the perfect distance."
McClure was very clear that his commitment didn't come without heavy thought and he puts a lot of value in Baylor being a Christian school.
"This is going to stick because we based this decision not off of who is hot right now but we based it on the best fit for me," said McClure. "I feel like Baylor is the best fit and the best program as far as the style of play, the location and it is a Christian school."
For the last year or so, it seems like McClure has been dealing with one injury or another. Whether it be his knee or groin, he's had to play at less than 100% much of the time. Now, though, McClure says that he is pretty much 100% healthy and he felt good being on the floor with his Texas Titans teammates at Nike's first EYBL stop in Sacramento over the weekend.
"My body is feeling great," said McClure. "I played in the EYBL and I did pretty good for my first EYBL event. My knee is holding up pretty good. I had a little issue with my groin but I'll be fine by the Dallas EYBL."
McClure is Baylor's first commitment from the class of 2015.
