Baylor's 2009 recruiting class is actually six deep and not just five deep. The Bears have a signature from one of the top big men in Europe.
Dragan Sekelja, a 7-foot, 245-pound post player from Zagreb, Croatia, has signed a Letter of Intent with Baylor.
Many consider Sekelja to be the top big man in Europe, but sources close to the situation also noted that Sekelja has a major hurdle to overcome in order to qualify academically to play for Baylor next year.
Even without Sekelja, the Baylor recruiting class is ranked No. 17 nationally with four-star prospects
Cory Jefferson,
Nolan Dennis and
Mark McLaughlin and three-star prospects
A.J. Walton and
Givon Crump.
