Bay will reschedule visit to Cal

Kalvin Bay was scheduled to take an official visit to California during the weekend of May 5, but that visit never took place. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound point guard from Marcos de Niza High School in Tempe, Ariz., is in the process of rescheduling the visit. Bay told Rivals.com that he is looking forward to taking another official visit to one of the schools located at the top of his list.
"I was supposed to take an official visit to California during the weekend of May 5, but I had to cancel that visit," said Bay. "It looks like I will be taking the visit to California towards the end of the month.

"Furman, Louisville, California and Arizona State are some of the schools that came by my school to visit with me," he added. "Gonzaga has been calling a lot and Iowa and Iowa State are starting to show some interest."
Bay, the three star point guard from Arizona, indicated that he intends to take all five official visit before making a decision about his future. Aside from his visit to California, Bay intends to spend a weekend touring the Gonzaga campus.
"Yes, I think that I want to take all five official visits," said Bays. "I want to make sure that I keep all of my options open. I definitely plan to visit California and Gonzaga for sure.
"I think that it would be best to take all five official visits," he added. "If I am going to make the best decisions possible, I need to visit some of the schools that I really like, and get a better feel for the campus, environment, players and coaches."
Until the time comes for Bay to take some additional visits, most of which will likely come next fall, the Arizona native will spend the rest of the summer touring with the Arizona Stars AAU organization.
"My Arizona Stars teammates and I played in the Houston Kingwood Classic," he said. "A week before that, we went to Las Vegas for a tournament. We are still learning to play together as a team, but I think that we are coming along just fine.
"Our next stop is the Memorial Day Class in New Orleans and then a trip to Boston for the Boston Shootout," he added.
