Bass Takes Another Trip

Brandon Bass, a bruising 6-8, 234-pound power forward from Capitol High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is on his way to an official visit to Miami. Bass will finish up his trip Saturday night and return home.

Bass has also taken an official visit to LSU and also caught a football game. Connecticut was recently in home for a contact visit. Kentucky coach Tubby Smith was in yesterday, according to Bass' family. Cincinnati also paid a contact visit.

Bass has also spoken about visiting Connecticut for their Midnight Madness weekend. Bass emerged as one of the top players at his position at the ABCD camp. He possesses a wide body and is blessed with good athleticism. He has an excellent frame and runs the floor well. Brandon is also quick off his feet.

Bass had previously heard from Georgetown, Mississippi State, Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Missouri, USC, UNLV, Illinois, and Arkansas. Brandon averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 8.5 blocks this past high school season.
