Bass Making Decision Today

In the next hour, Brandon Bass will have ended his recruiting process. Bass, a talented 6-8, 235-pound combo forward from Capital High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has yet to call the schools in his recruiting process. But a school official at Capital High School told us this morning they were arranging the press conference.
A source close to Bass told us that Brandon will announce for LSU but also indicated that a change of heart is always possible. But other sources close to Bass tell us that Brandon has only given LSU the indication that he is headed to its school.

Mississippi State and Connecticut are also being highly considered. But neither of these staffs has heard from Bass today, according to our sources. Cincinnati and Kentucky were previously mentioned by Bass as being of interest.
Bass, who is rated a four-star prospect and the 23rd best player in America by RivalHoops.com, averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, eight blocks and three assists per contest last season. He is averaging 20 points and 18 rebounds a game this year.
The official word by Bass is expected in the next hour.
