Bass Has Top 3

Brandon Bass, a talented 6-8, 235-pound combo forward from Capital High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, told RivalsHoops.com that three schools have kept in contact with him so far this Fall. "Mississippi State, LSU and Connecticut are the only schools that are calling me right now," Bass said. "So they are my top three."
Bass, who decided to wait until the spring before signing a letter of intent, previously mentioned interest in Cincinnati and Kentucky. "I haven't heard from them," Bass said. "Just the three schools."

Bass, who is rated a four-star prospect and the 23rd best player in America by RivalHoops.com, also spoke highly of his visits to Miami, Southern Cal, LSU, and Connecticut. "They were all pretty good trips," Bass said. "I might still take a visit to Mississippi State. But I am not sure whether it would be an official visit."
Bass averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, eight blocks and three assists per contest last season. This season Bass has led his team to a 4-0 record. "I am averaging 20 points and 18 rebounds a game," Bass said. "Everytime I get into the gym I am trying to work on all of my skills, it's not one particular thing I am trying to improve. I want to improve everything."
