Bass Has 7 Offers

Brandon Bass, a bruising 6-8, 234-pound power forward from Capitol High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, emerged as one of the top players at his position at the ABCD camp.
Bass is a wide body blessed with good athleticism and an excellent frame to work with. He runs the floor well and is quick off his feet. Bass threw down a couple of punishing dunks in transition over the course of the camp and proved very difficult to cotain with his blend of strength and atheticism.
Bass has heard from LSU, Mississippi State, Cinncinati, UConn, Miami(FL), Missouri, USC, UNLV, Illinois, and Arkansas. All have offered except Illinois, Miami, and Arkansas. He does not know when he will take any trips.
Brandon, one of the most personable and well-mannered kids we came into contact with at ABCD, will head out to Las Vegas with the Jazz to compete in the Las Vegas Big Time Tournament. He averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 8.5 blocks this past high school season.
Brandon carries a 2.7 GPA. He has not yet attained a qualifying ACT score. He will take the test again in October.
