Bass Chooses LSU

To no one's surprise, Brandon Bass, a talented 6-8, 235-pound combo forward from Capitol High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, verbally committed to LSU. He will sign his letter of intent in the spring signing period, according to school officials at Capitol High School.
Bass made his decision official today at a press conference. Mississippi State and Connecticut were also being highly considered. Cincinnati and Kentucky were previously mentioned by Bass as being of interest.
Bass, who is rated a four-star prospect and the 23rd best player in America by RivalHoops.com, averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, eight blocks and three assists per contest last season. He is averaging 20 points and 18 rebounds a game this year.
