Barraza looking forward to more exposure

Now that his junior season is complete, Louis Barraza is looking forward to receiving some more exposure during the spring and summer AAU circuit. The 6-foot-4, 180-pound combo guard from Trevor Browne High School in Phoenix, Ariz., has a number of programs interested in his services, but Barraza is hoping his list of schools will expand.
"Our season is over and we finished with an overall record of 14-13," said Trevor Browne head coach Paul Long. "We had a very young team, so we struggled quite a bit this year. We have everybody coming back next year, so things look real good. I have already met with the team and talked about next year.

"Louis has a good year for us," he added. "He averaged 16.7-points, nine rebounds and four assists per game. He was also selected to the All-Region first team. Two of my other juniors were selected to the All-Region second team."
As far as his recruitment goes, Barraza is certainly looking forward to receiving more exposure this year from a national level. As it stands right now, it appears that the 6-foot-4, 180-pound combo guard will be running with the top Arizona Magic AAU organization.
"Montana and Wyoming are heavier than everybody else," said Long. "Those two schools are showing the most interest in Louis right now. Idaho is still in the picture and he is still receiving some stuff from Washington State. Louis has also received letters from James Madison and the College of Charleston.
"I really don't see Louis making a decision until the fall," he added. "He needs to get some more exposure and he definitely wants to get noticed more. Louis will be playing with the Arizona Magic this spring and summer, so he will have an opportunity to get that exposure."
