Bannister Has High Interest

T.J. Bannister, a 5-11, 160-pound guard from Arlington Country Day High School in Jacksonville, Florida, is a quick guard who know how to get to the basket. Bannister had previously played some AAU ball with John Adkins' Tallahassee Wildcats, a team that played at the Showcase and National AAU event this past week in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
"Alabama and Florida State are two of his top schools," Adkins told us this week.

New Jersey Hoops' Jay Gomes reported that T.J. told him he was also interested in Miami, Auburn, and NC State. According to Gomes, T.J.'s father mentioned that Texas had also begun to show significant interest.
There is a shortage of good point guards in this year's class so Bannister can certainly count on being offered by many high majors. "He's a good point guard," Adkins said. "He does a lot of nice things on the court. He has speed and quickness. He will make a fine college basketball player."
