Banks Talks About Visits

The Brooklyn-Queens aka Sonday Express enlisted some special help on Monday's opening night of the IS8 spring league in South Jamaica, Queens. Bergen Catholic(NJ) swingman Sean Banks, a native of Queens, helped spark the team's 100-57 win over the Flatbush Youth Association, throwing down a handful of emphatic stuffs and demonstrating why a slew of high major programs are vying for the junior's services early on.
Banks, a 6-7, 190-pound swingman who averaged 18 points and six rebounds this past season, told RivalsHoops.com that he is receiving widespread interest.

"I've been hearing from schools from the Big East, ACC, Pac-10, Big 12, and Big 10," said Banks.
Banks is pondering taking a few unofficial visits. "I'll definitely visit Maryland," said Banks. "I'll probably visit UCLA and Arizona."
Banks can score from the perimeter and by taking it to the rack. He is comfortable in transition and can handle the ball if needed. Banks led the break a number of times Monday night.
He will have to beef up to handle the physical toughness of major Division I basketball, but clearly Banks possesses the tools and versatility that scads of high-profile programs covet.
Sean will play this spring and summer for the Tim Thomas Playaz and will attend the ABCD camp. Otherwise, Banks will participate in The Rumble in the Bronx as well as a number of other marquee events.
Banks carries a 2.5 scholastic GPA and will take the SAT for the first time on May 4th.
