While Kyle Lowry garnered much of the ink for Philly MJC this past weekend at the Spiece Run N Slam Tournament, the solid point guard play of Antoine Brown should not have been overlooked.
Brown, a 6-foot-2, 175-pounder from South H.S. in Philadelphia, Penn., was a rudder all weekend long for MJC while Lowry freelanced and scored a ton of points for the Run N Slam champs.

Brown told RivalsHoops.com that he has been offered thus far by LaSalle, St. Joseph's and Texas A&M. In addition, he is also hearing from programs like Rhode Island, UConn, Syracuse and Alabama.
A guard who sees the floor well and finds open teammates, Brown is a good ball handler whose offensive game is still developing. He uses the dribble well to create space on his jumper, but he releases the basketball rather low on his perimeter shots. He's also a good on the ball defender.
As a junior at South H.S., Brown said he averaged 16.3 points, five rebounds, seven assists and eight steals per game.
He said he has a 3.1 GPA but does not plan on taking the SAT until June for the first time.
Brown has already taken unofficial visits to area schools like LaSalle and St. Joe's, and he is hoping to swing up to Syracuse in the near future and take a look at the Orangemen program.
Brown said he plans on attending the Nike All-American Camp this summer in Indianapolis. He will tour the spring and summer circuit with Lonnie Lowry's Philly MJC program.
