Baldwin in no hurry

Now that he has settled into the class of 2016, three-star power forward Chris Baldwin is in no rush to make a move with his recruitment.

A native of Springfield, Mass. who was originally in the class of 2015, the 6-foot-7 power forward has made a move to Fitchburg (Mass.) Notre Dame Prep and the class of 2016 in order to work on his game and academics.
Schools like Pittsburgh, VCU, Cincinnati, Colorado State and many others have indicated serious interest. However, Baldwin says that nobody sticks out just yet and that he is much more focused on his game than his recruitment.
"Right now I'm trying to get my motor higher and rebounding very well," Baldwin told Rivals.com. "I'm also trying to get more of a back to the basket game."
Though he has moved to 2016 -- where he is a potential Rivals150 player -- for now, Baldwin did say that he would entertain making a move back to his natural class if things work out on the recruiting front and academically.
"It's all about even right now," said Baldwin."It's kind of up in the air right now, it depends on recruiting really."
Should he stay in the class of 2016, Baldwin says that he will run with the Mass Rivals in the summer. Whenever he does get more serious about his recruitment, Baldwin is going to be all about the comfort level he feels with his future head coach.
"I just want to be comfortable wherever I'm at," said Baldwin. "The right coaching style and all of that. It doesn't matter where I am in terms of location. I want to be able to have a comfort level that me and the coach will have a good relationship."
