Ayers to Decide on Wednesday
Germantown Academy (Pa.) class of 2005 small forward Ryan Ayers will be holding a press conference on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. EST to announce his college decision. The 6-foot-6, 190-pound prospect has been actively looking at schools over the last month and wants to end the recruiting process early.
Ayers, the son of former Philadelphia 76ers head coach Randy Ayers, took an official visit to Virginia last weekend. The week before that, he visited Notre Dame on an official trip. Germantown Academy head coach said the two programs were the likely candidates.

“I’d say that’s probably about right,” Fenerty said. “He’s really enjoyed both schools and I know he’ll make a good decision with either one.”
Ayers has also taken unofficial visits to Maryland, North Carolina and Villanova. He is ranked No. 80 in the country by Rivals.com.
