Aubin Scott: 3 Schools Interested

Combo guard Aubin Scott, 6-2 and 170-pounds from Hempstead High School in Hempstead, New York, has three schools that he is considering at this point.
Scott has been offered by New Orleans, Howard, and LIU, as he was recently contacted by new coach Jim Ferry's staff. Scott has already taken an official visit to Howard, and plans on visiting New Orleans and

LIU sometime in May.
Scott, who scores a good chunk of his points off the dribble but can also fire it up from deep, led Long Island in scoring this past season at a 28 point per game clip. He also averaged 11 rebounds and 6 assists.
Scott, who plays with the Long Island Panthers AAU program, is a pesky defender, a nuisance defensively. He garnered little recogntion despite playing at Hempstead, which has produced a number of Division I
players, most recently Rhode Island swingman Tavorris Bell and point guard Eric Ferguson. Ferry, the new coach at LIU, was formerly the head man at Adelphi, which is less than ten minutes away from Hempstead.
Aubin told us that his core requirements are in place, but that he was still waiting on an SAT score. A coach from Globe Tech CC in Manhattan spoke with Aubin after a recent game at the IS8 league in Manhattan.
