Arthur has four official visits planned

Now that Darrell Arthur has trimmed his list of schools to six, the 6-foot-9, 220-pound power forward from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas., is ready to start taking some official visits. Arthur, the No. 19 ranked player in the class of 2006, has scheduled four official visits and is working on his fifth and final visit.
"Yes, Darrell has scheduled four of his five official visits," said South Oak Cliff Head Coach James Mays. "He will be visiting Baylor during the weekend of September 23 and North Carolina during the weekend of September 30. Once those two visits are complete, Darrell will travel to Kansas during the weekend of October 14 and then to SMU on October 21.

"We are still working on a visit date to Indiana," he added. "We don't have anything scheduled yet, but we hope to in the next couple of days. I also know that Darrell plans to take an unofficial visit to Texas."
Now that Arthur, the No. 4 ranked power forward in the class, has scheduled four official visits, he is looking forward to conducting in-home visits with coaches from each of the aforementioned programs.
"We have tentatively scheduled in-home visits with each of the schools on Darrell's list," said Mays. "I need to check on a few things before I release those dates, so feel free to call me back in a few days and I will have the complete list of in-home visit dates."
Darrell Arthur Scouting Report: Very athletic, Arthur has the size and skill base as well to be a combo forward at the highest level. Capable of dominating the glass, Arthur can, however, play too passive at times. -Jerry Meyer
