Darrell Arthur, the 6-foot-9, 220-pound power forward from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, recently returned from his official visit to North Carolina. For Arthur, the No. 19 ranked player in the class of 2006, it was the first of five visits that he plans to take before making a decision about his future.
"Everything went okay during Darrell's visit to North Carolina," said South Oak Cliff head coach James Mays. "You know, he just did the things that take place during a regular official visit. Darrell hung out with the players, spent time with the coaching staff and got a tour of the campus."
Arthur, the No. 4 ranked power forward in the class, was supposed to take an official visit to Baylor during the weekend of September 23. However, the visit had to be postponed because of Hurricane Rita. Coach Mays indicated that Arthur's visit to Baylor would take place later on in the month.
"Darrell will be taking an official visit to Indiana this weekend," said Mays. "He had planned to visit Baylor during the weekend of September 23, but we had to postpone that trip because of the Hurricane. Darrell will be taking a visit to Baylor later on in October."
