Arthur down to six

After months of anticipation and speculation, Darrell Arthur, the No. 19 ranked player in the class of 2006, has finally trimmed his list of schools. The 6-foot-9, 220-pound power forward from Dallas, Texas., will now being to schedule official visits in the fall.
"Darrell has cut his list to Kansas, North Carolina, SMU, Indiana, Baylor and Illinois, said Jazzy Hartwell. "This was a very difficult process that took an entire week to complete. Darrell had a hard time deciding what schools to keep on his list and what schools to remove.

"We are just glad that this process is over," he added. "Now Darrell can begin to move forward and start taking visits."
Coach Hartwell indicated that Arthur, the No. 4 ranked power forward in the class, would spend most of next week trying to schedule as many official visits as possible. It appears that Arthur will take all five visits before making a final decision about his future.
"Darrell and I will sit-down next week and begin to schedule his official visits," said Hartwell. "Darrell plans to start taking some official visits right when school starts. Once he is done taking his visits, he will be ready to make a decision."
Darrell Arthur Scouting Report: Very athletic, Arthur has the size and skill base as well to be a combo forward at the highest level. Capable of dominating the glass, Arthur can, however, play too passive at times. -Jerry Meyer
