FORT MONMOUTH, N.J. -- Air Force Prep and St. Thomas More advanced to the championship game of the Army Prep Invitational Tournament with Friday night victories.
Air Force Prep downed host Army Prep, 63-58, while St. Thomas More knocked off Milford Academy, 81-69.

It was the second straight year that Air Force advanced to the championship game. The Huskies got 14 points apiece from 6-1 guard Nate Doney and 6-5 forward David Ellis.
Army Prep led 34-27 at the half, thanks to an outstanding first half performance from guard Chaun Brooks, who tallied 19 of his 27 points in the opening 20 minutes.
The Huskies rallied in the second half behind Ellis, who canned a trio of three pointers in the final 20 minutes to spur Air Force Prep to the win.
Small forward Matt Trammell added 13 points for the Golden Knights in defeat.
In a battle of Nutmeg State prep schools, St. Thomas More bolted out to a 43-28 half-time and never looked back in an 81-69 victory over Milford.
Aaron Johnson, a 6-7 power forward from Westchester, Penn., led the Chancellors with 22 points and small forward John Zito added 17 for the victors. Shooting guard Kevin Reed also hit double figures for STM with 11 points.
Derrick Mack, a 6-2 guard from the Bronx, N.Y., paced Milford with 14 points. John Winchester, Renardo Dickerson and Victor Fletcher added 10 points apiece for the Falcons in defeat.
