Arkansas lands another Rivals150 prospect

John Pelphrey and Arkansas have been hot on the recruiting trail. Already the owners of commitments from a five-star, two four-stars and a three-star prospect from the 2011 Rivals150, the Hawgs struck again Sunday night when Devonta Abron decided to play his college ball in Fayetteville.
Abron, a 6-foot-7 southpaw from Dallas (Texas) Seagoville and Rivals.com's #106 player in the class of 2011, felt a connection with the current team and incoming recruiting class after an official visit.

"I think I fit in right along with them," Abron told Damon Sayles of Texashoops.com. "I just thought it was best fit for me."
Playing the last couple of summer's for Tony Johnson's Dallas Mustangs on the summer circuit, Abron developed a reputation as a physical grinder with offensive ability.
Abron joins B.J. Young, Ky Madden, Hunter Mickelson and Aaron Ross as part of one of the top recruiting classes in the country.
