Arizona, Texas Top Finley’s List

Jermichael Finley, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound small forward from Diboll, TX., is receiving a high amount of interest from a number of elite level college basketball programs from across America. The multidivisional athlete also happens to be just as talented on the football field, so Finley is hoping to play both sports at the next level.
“Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas A&M are recruiting me the hardest right now,” Finley said. “I plan to take all five official visits in the fall, but I don’t know exactly what schools I will visit. I do know that I want to officially visit Arizona and Texas, but I have not decided about the other three visits.

“Arizona, Texas and Texas A&M are the schools that have offered scholarships so far,” he added. “Once I start taking some of my official visits, I will have a better idea of what school is best for me.”
It appears that Texas might be the team to beat for the multidimensional athlete. The Longhorns have a rich history of football tradition, but Rick Barnes has done a wonderful job with the basketball program and there is no doubt that Texas is one of the premier teams in all of college basketball.
