It's been a big year on the floor for Bobby Hurley and Arizona State and their 2018 recruiting class is starting to reflect it.

Late Tuesday night, 2018's No. 33 ranked player Taeshon Cherry of San Diego (Calif.) Foothills Christian committed to the Sun Devils just days after completing his official visit to Tempe. Formerly committed to Pac 12 foe USC, Cherry didn't need to waste much time in selecting the Sun Devils and he has the tools to be an instant impact player.

The third four-star prospect to pick Arizona State from the class of 2018, Cherry is the type of hybrid four man that is experiencing much success in today's game. He can step outside and shoot the jump shot, he puts the ball on the floor, he rebounds and he is a sneaky athlete who can make plays in the open floor because of his fluidity and all around skill.

Cherry joins high scoring and physical two guard Luguentz Dort from Canada and rangy jump shooter Elias Valtonen from Finland to make up the Sun Devils 2018 recruiting class.

That class now ranks No. 19 overall in the 2018 team rankings.
