Down in Tucson, Sean Miller and the Arizona staff are on some kind of five-star recruiting roll.

With Terrance Ferguson's announcement that he will play his college hoops at Arizona, the Wildcats have now landed three five-star guards from the senior class since January.

A 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Dallas (Texas) Advanced Prep International who ranks No. 12 overall in the 2016 Rivals150, Ferguson joins shooting guard Rawle Alkins and point guard Kobi Simmons as five-stars who have selected Arizona in the first few months of 2016.

RIVALS' REACTION...

Arizona suffered a tough blow earlier this week when Josh Jackson announced that he will play at Kansas. But, it didn't take long for the Wildcats to bounce back in a big way with the addition of Ferguson.

Ferguson is a shooter. In fact, he may be the best shooter in the senior class. His range extends easily to 25 feet, he gets tremendous elevation on his shot and he's one of those kids where each and every time he lets it fly you get the impression that it's going to go in.

In addition to his shooting, Ferguson is a true high-flyer and above-the-rim finisher. He's as athletic a transition player as there is in the senior class and his ability to soar for dunks and alley-oops is certainly entertaining. More importantly, that athleticism gives him the chance to develop into an elite defender.

He will need to get stronger and improve his ability to create his own shot.

WHAT'S NEXT?

With Ferguson in the fold, Arizona would appear to be done in 2016. In addition to Ferguson, Simmons and Alkins, the Wildcats also are bringing in power forward Lauri Markkanen. That group gives Sean Miller a top five recruiting class.

In addition to the recruiting class, the Wildcats also got good news when freshman Allonzo Trier announced that he would be back for his sophomore season. In fact, the biggest thing to focus on moving forward is going to be finding enough shots to go around for all of these guys.
