Arizona Is No Longer An Option For Pocius

Martynas Pocius was scheduled to take an official visit to Arizona during the weekend of October 29, but it appears that the visit will no longer take place. The Wildcats received a verbal commitment from J.P. Prince on Thursday, which means that Pocius, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard from The Holderness School in Plymouth, N.H., will look elsewhere.
“It doesn’t look like Martynas will be taking a visit to Arizona,” The Holderness School head coach Jamie Gallagher said. “I know they received a commitment earlier today, so I just don’t see the visit to Arizona taking place.

“As of right now, Kansas and Duke are the two schools Martynas will definitely visit,” he added. “His visit to Kansas will take place during the weekend of October 15 and Duke the following weekend.”
While nothing official has been scheduled as of yet, Coach Gallagher indicated that Pocius might take one or two more visits before making a final decision about his future.
“Kansas and Duke are the only scheduled visits at this time, but there is a chance that Martynas will visit several other schools,” Coach Gallagher said. “A number of programs have already contacted me tonight about bringing Martynas in for a visit. Again, we haven’t made any decisions about any additional visits, but its definitely a possibility.”
