Ariza Narrows List Down

Trevor Ariza, a quick and athletic 6-8, 200 pound power/combination forward from Westchester H.S. in Los Angeles, Calif., has narrowed the field to eight colleges this summer.
Ariza told that he is considering Southern California, UCLA, Georgia, Florida, UNLV, Indiana, Oregon and Louisville.
Thus far, Ariza has set up one trip to UNLV for the weekend of Sept. 6-8, although he admitted that he may need to change that date. Earlier he told Rivals Hoops that he would be visiting Oregon over the September 27th weekend.
"I don't have an order of schools," Ariza said. "They are all recruiting me well and are offering me the same kind of things. I probably will make a fall decision."
Ariza enjoyed a good summer with both the Pump and Run All-Star squad and California Team Select. He kicked off the summer at the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey in early July.
A very mobile forward who uses quick leaping ability to hurt opponents on the offensive glass, Ariza can finish with either hand around the tin. Down the road, he projects as a small forward in college and beyond, but he is still working on his handle and consistency of his outside shot.
