The 6-8, 200 pound power forward averaged 12 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists last season as a junior at Los Angeles' Westchester High School. He said he had a 3.2 GPA last semester giving him a 2.8 comulative mark entering his final prep year.
RivalsHoops.com's number 10 player made the all-star team at the adidas ABCD camp in early July as well as at the adidas Big Time Tournament with Pump N Run later last month. He also played with California Team Select at the Peach Jam.
His senior year begins on September 9th, with conditioning in October and team practice starting the following month. "I think our first game is December 5th," he said. He wants to decide on a college before the season starts.
The Californian is a strong defender and rebounder and runs the break extremely well. But what really impressed this reporter each time we've seen him play is his effective use of his athleticism.
"I want to get stronger this season," he said. "And lead our high school team to a very successful season. My goal is to help our team get together and play well."
