TEANECK, NEW JERSEY -- Antonio Lawrence, a 6-5 guard/small forward from Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, Florida, has had some very impressive moments thus far at the ABCD camp on the campus of FDU.

Lawrence, who has nice size and athletic skills for someone who can play the guard slot, told us he is currently interested in North Carolina, North Carolina State, Illinois, Texas, Connecticut, Miami of Florida, St. John's, Seton Hall, Louisville, UCLA, Tennessee, Auburn, and Florida.

Of course, Louisville landed Garcia after we spoke to Lawrence. Lawrence averaged 27 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals per game last season.

Lawrence is a big time athlete who can get to the basket with strength and speed. He is one of the better prospects in the class of 2002 and he can score points in bunches.
