Antoine Wright, a much sought after 6-7, 190 pound wing forward from Lawrence Academy, played for Team Detroit at the Three Stripe Classic on Long Island.
Wright told us he has four top schools -- North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Connecticut. "North Carolina leads but they have not offered," Wright said. However, Wright said every other school has offered him.

Wright also told us he is considering Texas and Arizona as well. "I hope to make a decision at the end of the summer," Wright said. "But I am not sure how I would work out visits."
Wright is so smooth in delivering his shot too. North Carolina continued to show up at his games. Head coach Matt Doherty and assistant coach Fred Quartlebaum monitored the action along with the other schools on his list.
Wright, who has already unoffically visited Texas A&M, has a 2.5 GPA and a qualifying 870 on the SAT. He averaged 27 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block per game last year as a junior. He is wide open and plans on taking all of his five visits before deciding on a school.
ANTIONE WRIGHT AT THREE STRIPES:
Detroit/Inland versus Long Island Panthers: Due to the Detroit coach being tossed and the game being called early in the second half, we only got to see a partial matchup between Antione Wright and Curtis Sumpter.
Wright had eight points in a little over a half of play. They were all medium range perimeter shots.
Detroit/Inland versus Connecticut Select: Antione Wright scores 20 points but his team falls 69-65 to the Connecticut Select. Most of Wright's points are from medium range jumpers except for one three-pointer.
Detroit/Inland versus Albany City Rocks: Antione Wright buries five three-pointers and finishs the game with 25 points to lead all scorers. His team wins, 76-61.
Detroit/Inland versus Atlanta Celtics: Antione Wright scores 16 points but his team is hammered, 72-48. He hits on one three-pointer.
