Antoine McGee will be busy this summer

Antoine McGee, a 5-11, 170 pound point guard from Moreno Valley, CA, each fall heads east to Mercersburg Academy in central Pennslvania for his high school education.

McGee averaged 16 points and seven assists as a junior. Mercersburg was 17-8 this past season.

He has a busy schedule this summer including compeitition with the Inland AAU club. Immediately after the adidas ABCD camp at Fairleigh-Dickinson from July 7 though 11, he'll head to the 3 Stripes Classic at Hofstra from the 12th to 14th. He'll also participate in the adidas Big Time Tournament and either the Double Pump Tournament or the Elite 8x2 at Berkley, CA.

McGee is currently carrying a 2.4 GPA and scored 870 on his first attempt at the SAT. "I'm taking the SAT again in the fall," he added.

He said he's thinking of majoring in business or communications.

McGee said some of the schools that are interested in him include Providence, Georgia Tech, Marquette, Miami (FL) and Clemson. "But my coach at Mercersburg has more information on that," he said.

This young man said he intends to work on improving his passing this summer so he can get his teammates more involved. He doesn't have a target date for a college decision. "A lot depends on what happens this summer," he said.
