Antoine Jordan Has Diverse Skills

Antoine Jordan, a lanky 6-5 combo guard from Celestial Prep in Philadelphia, Penn., is an intriguing player who should bring a diverse set of skills into the Siena basketball program next year.
Jordan was a big factor in leading Randallstown H.S. in Maryland to a 3-A state crown last March.

The Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com had a chance to catch Jordan in action this past summer with the Cecil Kirk AAU program out of Baltimore, as well as with the Celestial Prep program two weeks ago.
Blessed with long arms and good quickness, Jordan is a slippery ball handler who can finish with either hand at the rim. He also has good court savvy and can find open teammates off dribble penetration.
The weakest part of Jordan's game right now is his outside shot. Yes, he will hit some, but his form is not very good and his long distance shot generally lacks arc. If he improves that area of his game and works on his upper body strength, Jordan has the chance to be an impact player at the MAAC level.
According to Celestial Prep program director Darryl Schofield, Jordan is still working on getting a qualifying SAT score. He said that core grades are not an issue with Jordan.
IR plans on catching Celestial again several more times this winter, so we will keep you posted on Jordan's progress.
