Anthony Wilson Continues To Impress

Anthony Wilson, a 6-2, 180 pound shooting guard from the St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn., continues to have an impressive year for head coach Jere Quinn. Wilson scored 13 points against Our Savior New American this past weekend.
Wilson was steady and solid throughout the game. He hit three three-pointers, showing a nice range on his jumpshot. Wilson remains open in his recruiting process but does have some southern colleges looking at him this winter.

A native of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Wilson is being recruited by Jacksonville State and Troy State, according to Quinn. "He is open and has not made a decision," Quinn said. "He has worked very hard here. He has been a good player for us."
When Russ Blake watched Wilson in person, here is his report: Wilson scored eight points in the Chancellors' loss to Columbia University's J.V. squad. He prefers to put the ball on the deck and drive to the basket, although he can also knock down the short-midrange jumper. He also is effective at leaking out on the break in transition play.
When rivalshoops.com watched Wilson play again, he did show decent range as we mentioned above. But rivalshoops.com will have some chances to watch Wilson play over the next couple of weeks. Look for the reports on this site.
