Anthony Wilson Continues Solid Year

MONTVILLE, CONNECTICUT -- Sometimes you don't even notice the positive things that Anthony Wilson, a 6-2, 180 pound shooting guard from the St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn., does on the floor. He just blends in so well with the offensive of St. Thomas More and does everything a little bit good.
Wilson had a good weekend. When rivalshoops.com saw him two Fridays ago, Wilson scored 13 points against Our Savior New American. He was steady and solid throughout the game. He hit three three-pointers, showing a nice range on his jumpshot.

Last night against New Hampton, Wilson hit some key free throws and baskets to help St. Thomas More escape with a victory.
Wilson remains open in his recruiting process but does have some southern colleges looking at him this winter.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Wilson is being recruited by Jacksonville State and Troy State, according to St. Thomas More Head Coach Jere Quinn. Wilson also said he has been contacted by Auburn. And there were several middle division one programs watching the game last night.
Wilson prefers to put the ball on the deck and drive to the basket, although he can also knock down the short-midrange jumper. He also is effective at leaking out on the break in transition play.
