BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA -- Carmelo Anthony, 6-7, 190 pound swingman, told Russ Blake of the Insiders Report that he plans on announcing for Syracuse tomorrow.
Anthony told us: "I am going to call the Baltimore Sun and the people at Syracuse I am coming there. I am not going to have a press conference. I am already committed."

Anthony said he wanted to make a decision early because: "I didn't want the pressure and my mother didn't want the pressure. I like the style of play, the coaches. I like coach Boeheim. He's a great coach. He lets the players play."
Anthony said he grew up a St. John's fan. He is from Brooklyn, New York. "I like a small school and the Carrier Dome is nice," Anthony said. "I never changed my mind. I was going there. I know coach Boeheim is going to be there."
Anthony said also: "I like coach Boeheim's personality and I like his relationships with the players on and off the court."
Anthony, who plays with the Baltimore Blue AAU-team, is scheduled to participate in the NBA camp in DC and the Nike camp this summer.
"Syracuse is telling me I am coming in at the three-guard," Anthony said. "They said I am going to start when I get there. They said they guarantee that I will start when I get there."
