Anthony Roberson/Sebastian Telfair Matchup

TEANECK, N.J. -- Two years ago, Anthony Roberson burst on to the summer circuit scene with the Michigan Mustangs, a precocious rising sophomore who had the ability to bust on talented rising juniors and seniors and make them look silly.
So Roberson had to see some of the parallels on Monday afternoon when he battled 5-11 New York rising sophomore Sebastian Telfair, already a two-year veteran of the ABCD Camp.

Simply put, Telfair gave the Florida bound Roberson fits when the Bulls battled the Knicks.
Telfair maneuvered around Roberson with stunning ease via slick dribble moves, and outscored (24-18) and outpassed (six assists to four) his elder counterpart.
But when the chips were down, Roberson hit the game winning three pointer to propel the Bulls to an 84-81 victory over the Knicks.
While there is no questioning Roberson's offensive talent, Telfair right now is the more polished floor general. His court vision and understanding of the game is tremendous for someone of his age group.
To think that Telfair has three more years of high school ball to play, one can only wonder just how good he can be.
Just a few years ago, people were wondering the same about Roberson, one of the top guard prospects in the Class of 2002.
Perhaps Monday at the ABCD Camp was a bit of a passing of the torch in the point guard legacy!
