Anthony misses last game of USA Festival

Carmello Anthony was having another outstanding event this past week. Just two weeks before he returned from a European tour with a Nike team where he had been named the MVP.
This event was the prestigious USA Basketball's 4th Annual Youth Development Festival in Colorado Springs, CO. And on Saturday night, Anthony pumped in 29 points in the semi-finals to lead the East to a 108-94 win over the West team and a rematch with the North for the event championship.
In the title game, the LeBron James-led North team edged out a one-point victory (83-82) over the Anthony-less East squad.
Anthony wasn't on the court because he left Colorado Springs early. The reason: academics.
He started summer school this week at Oak Hill Academy. The Syracuse-bound super prep knew what was most important.
