Anthony Lalor Update

While he might have signed with George Washington University last fall, 6-8, 215 pound freshman power forward Anthony Lalor has resurfaced this year at Westchester C.C. in Valhalla, N.Y.
Lalor scored six points on Tuesday night in the Westcos' 105-90 victory over Globe Tech.

Apparently, he failed to qualify academically last year out of DeWitt Clinton H.S. in the Bronx. So instead of heading to Foggy Bottom, he headed slightly north to Valhalla in Westchester County.
Lalor is still a work in progress from an offensive standpoint, and he'll need to continue adding size and strength to his frame. But he is blessed with good mobility and athleticism for a big man, and it's conceivable he could wind up on the Division I level two years from now.
Westchester Head Coach Winston Nicholas told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that South Florida has already been in to take a look at Lalor, whom we first saw with Gary Decesare's New York Ravens program nearly two summers ago.
Lalor said that the new coaching staff at GW did not seem interested in him last spring, so it's likely that he won't reconsider the Colonials when he gets re-recruited next year.
Whatever the case, JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted.
