Another top 50 prospect to Nova

Villanova has started its 2012 recruiting class with two top 50 prospects with the commitment of local product Savon Goodman.
According to Goodman's travel team coach Lonnie Lowry of Team Philly, Goodman picked Villanova over Duke and Kentucky.

"He really likes Coach Wright," Lowry told Rivals.com. "As with most local guys that pick Villanova, he likes how it is close to home and there is a cool family atmosphere in the program. Coach Wright does a great job of getting the kids to get along and they spend a lot of time with each other off the court."
Goodman, 6-foot-6, 20015-pounds from Philadelphia Academy of the New Church, is as physically imposing forward as there is in the 2012 class. As a slasher and rebounder, he is extremely difficult to contain.
"I think he will be a three at the next level," said Lowry. "He just needs to work on his skill level. Athletically and physically he is an animal. He is college ready. He just needs to work on his outside shot. I expect him to be one of the better players in the country after this year."
Goodman, who is the No. 32 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, joins Ryan Arcidiacono in Villanova's 2012 recruiting class.
