One day after securing a commitment from four-star center Quadri Moore, Cincy has secured three-star combo forward Gary Clark.
The No. 145 player in the Rivals150, the product of Clayton (N.C.) High announced his decision Thursday during a press conference at his high school.
Clark came on strong as a junior at Clayton and that play continued through the summer with the CP3 All-Stars in Nike's EYBL. A ferocious competitor around the rim, Clark used his athleticism and length to be a factor on the glass and scoring in transition.
An inside/out guy who scraps on both ends, he is the type of high energy and versatile player that should be very useful at Cincinnati.
In Moore, Cincinnati has found themselves a big bodied post player with good hands. Moore can bang around the rim but is also capable of stretching defenses with his jump shooting ability that extends all the way out to three point range.
