Another International Pickup for Valpo

Perhaps no other program in the country has done a better job of scouring the international ranks for talent than Valparaiso University in Indiana.
And Valpo's latest foreign import will be on display this weekend at the War on the Shore event in Milford, Del.

Moussa Mbaye, a 6-9, 200 pound power forward/center from the Ivory Coast, signed a national letter of intent in the past week to attend the Mid-Continent Conference power.
Rivalshoops.com caught up with Life Center Head Coach Darryl Gladden this week for his thoughts on Mbaye, who enrolled at the Burlington, N.J., based school earlier this fall.
"Moussa is probably the best all-around player that I've had in a while," Gladden said. "He's 6-9, long, can run the floor and follow up shots well."
"He's adapting quickly into the system we have, and his upside potential is pretty high," Gladden continued. "He just needs to continue to get stronger and bigger."
Mbaye is from the Senegal in Africa. He is one of four African natives on this year's Life Center roster, but he's the only one to make an early decision.
Another African native, Mali's Oumar Sylla, is also committed to Valpo. He will also play at the War on the Shore Tournament with his Our Savior New America team.
Rivalshoops.com will let you know how Mbaye plays this weekend at the War on the Shore, so stay tuned.
