6-6, 190 pound small forward Andre Iguodala (right) of Lanphier H.S. in Springfield, Illinois, announced today at a press conference he has committed to Arkansas, according to school officials at Lanphier.

Iguodala's quickness and athleticism had made him a high priority target this summer and fall for a number of high major basketball programs.

Iguodala previously had a list of Boston College, Arizona, Kansas, and Arkansas.

As a junior at Springfield Lanphier, Iguodala averaged 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks per game. A solid student, Andre said his GPA resides in the 3.8-3.9 range, and he has already scored a 19 on the ACT.
