Andre Allen to Walk On
According to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, two-time Mr. Basketball winner in the state of Tennessee, Andre Allen, will walk on at Memphis.
The 5-foot-8, 170-pound point guard from Booker T. Washington in Memphis had been listing Houston, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Indiana as schools he was considering. Except for Houston it was quite unclear as to whether Allen had scholarship offers from the other schools.

Memphis had not been mentioned as a possibility for Allen, the No. 32 ranked player in the Southeast 34, until Coach Horton of Booker T. Washington told RivalsHoops.com a couple weeks ago that Memphis was in the picture.
Allen burst onto the recruiting scene as a physically mature freshman at Booker T. Washington. As other player’s physical development has caught up with Allen’s, his stock has waned as a prospect.
