Anderson Has Leader

C.J. Anderson, a 6-4, 208 pound combo guard from Laurinburg Prep in Laurinburg, N.C., has a leader for his services this fall.
Laurinburg Head Coach Chris Chaney told us that Virginia Tech has emerged as the top choice on Anderson's compact list.

The Cincinnati, Ohio, native is working on boosting his academic credentials this year at Laurinburg. He enjoyed a stellar prep career at Winton Woods H.S. prior to enrolling at Laurinburg.
According to Coach Chaney, Pittsburgh and Seton Hall are also on Anderson's list.
Anderson was impressive with Cincinnati Select this past spring. At the Best of the Summer Tournament in Los Angeles in late July, Anderson helped the Cleveland Basketball Club reach the finale of that event.
A big guard with excellent rebounding and outlet passing skills, Anderson needs to significantly improve his outside shot. He will look to do that this winter at Laurinburg, in addition to sprucing up his academic credentials.
We'll keep you abreast on any new information in Anderson's recruitment as the season approaches. Stay tuned!
