"They told us as a team after the game this morning," Parker said. "Al-Farouq said, 'Tony and I want to make an announcement to the team.' So I gave them the floor and they told us they were going to Wake Forest. They all stood up and applauded that. After the announcement I said, 'All right, let's get focused for our next game."
Aminu, the No. 3 overall player in the class of 2008, also considered Georgia Tech. His older brother, Alade, is a junior with the Yellow Jackets.
Woods, the No. 18 ranked player in the country, also considered Florida. Woods and Aminu visited Wake Forest on separate occasions.
"They separately recruited them as individuals, which I thought was really interesting and I think they really respected that," Parker said.
Wake Forest also has a commitment from five-star center Ty Walker from North Carolina.
We will have more from Aminu and Woods later today.
